Argo Latest

"Argo_latest" is a version of CARS2009 which uses only screened Argo profiles. It uses all available data when updated every few months. When this webpage was last modified the version used data to Jan 2014, however it will change in future without notice as new versions are created.

CARS Aus8

1/8th degree grid spanning 90-180E, 50S to Equator. Create early 2013. Shorter lengthscales employed to reduce smoothing of psatial structure, but this also allows small scale variability to overly influence the mean field in data-poor areas.

CARS Coast8

This version is on a 1/8th degree grid and spans only the Australian Coastal areas. The file structure is slightly different because each map is stored as a vector of points rather than a rectangular grid.
