Publications and Data Listing

The following publication and data listing contains items to be submitted to the CRC Torres Publication and Data Repository. The listing is based on information requested and received from CRC Torres Task Leaders to date. Lodgement of publication copies and metadata to the CRC Torres Repository are contractually required. All items coloured red in the listing below have been identified and are awaiting lodgement to the repository. Could all Task Leaders please lodge their publications, metadata and data using the lodgement process below.

All queries and email can be directed to Tom.Taranto@csiro.au W (07) 3826 7259, M 043 16 17 743.

Lodgement Process

Metadata queries can also be directed to Steven.Edgar@csiro.au W (07) 3826 7371.

  • Corrections to listing - simply email stating addition, removal or other correction needed to listing.
  • Metadata – Metadata of Project Data is to conform to ANZLIC standard metadata standards. If your data has not been catalogues with the ASDD, please download the metadata performa, enter your projects metadata and attach in email to Tom.Taranto@csiro.au.  All metadata will then be loaded to the CMAR Marlin Metadatabase, an ASDD node.
  • Lodgement of publications and data (coloured red in listing) -
    •  Copies of all publications are to be submitted in pdf format suitable for web browsing (where possible).
    • To submit via CD:  Post to - Attn Tom Taranto, CMAR,  Box 120 Cleveland, 4163.
    •  if file >10Mb - load to ftp.csiro.au/incoming and then email stating filename and associated Task Number.
    •   if already on publicly available website - simply email stating associated Task Id and hyperlink. The target document may later require copying to the repository pending application of CRC Repository document search algorithims.
    •  else attach file in email direct to Tom.Taranto@csiro.au stating associated Task Id Number.
    • NOTE that access to lodged publications and data is restricted until otherwise informed.
    • NOTE that all project data is (co)owned by the CRC. As far as possible the CRC would like to receive the data in a ‘usable’ form.
