Voyage/Survey description: Judy B voyage JB 06/1978 in Eastern Gulf of Carpentaria.
PERSONNEL : John Salini, Adult Ecology Group.
PURPOSE : Routine monthly sampling of adult prawns and other animals for distribution , abundance and genetic studies.
COMMENTS:
This cruise was the ninth of our current series . Good weather was encountered for the first 12 days, but persistent 30 knot southerlies forced a night's stay in Karumba. All 210 scheduled stations were completed in 16 nights of sampling.
