Research Voyages
The Marine National Facility (MNF) Steering Committee calls for applications for sea time annually and encourages new users of the research vessel to apply. It also encourages applications for national and international collaborative projects. For more information see applying for Research Voyages.
Transit Voyages
The RV Southern Surveyor provides an opportunity for researchers, early career researchers and students to carry out underway or opportunistic science during transit voyages. The call for transit voyage applications is made annually after announcing the research voyage schedule which details any transits required in that schedule. Expressions of Interest
The Marine National Facility Steering Committee (MNF SC) is pleased to announce an excellent response from the Australian marine science community to the call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) for RV Investigator in 2013-14 and 2014-15. Thirty-six EOI were received for over 1150 project days at sea. The purpose of the update is to inform EOI applicants of the process ahead. Read more...
