The Next Wave program provides a unique opportunity for early
career researchers and students of marine science to experience
the working environment on a state-of the-art blue water research
vessel in an educational setting during transit voyages.
Each year Southern Surveyor undertakes a number of transit voyages
between the ports where one research voyage finishes and the next
commences. Universities and Agencies supporting
Marine Science education are encouraged to submit Expressions
