must be received by 17:00 Friday 19 March 2010. Applicants
will be advised of the status of their application by 30 March
2010.

The Next Wave program provides a unique opportunity for up to
ten early career researchers and students of marine science to
experience the working environment of a blue-water research vessel
equipped with modern laboratory facilities and deep-water research

Call for Applications
Universities and agencies that provide marine science education
are encouraged to submit applications for participation in Next
Wave voyages. Activities oriented toward the collection and analysis
of data and samples while the vessel is underway are most suited
to transit voyages. Institutions are encouraged to develop programs
of training and education for onboard delivery that integrate
with campus based studies.
