Remote Sensing Data Product Agreement
Between: Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, a body corporate established pursuant to the provisions of the Science and Industry Research Act 1949 (Commonwealth) through its Division of Marine Research and having its principal office at Limestone Avenue, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, 2601("CSIRO") and: "your name or company name" CONDITIONS The User agrees that by using the CSIRO Remote Sensing Data Product identified in the Schedule ("Product"), the User consents to all of the following conditions governing the use of the Product. 1. The User accepts a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Product. Any use of or reliance by the User on the Product or any part thereof is at the User's own risk and CSIRO shall not be liable for any loss or damage howsoever arising as a result of such use. 2. The User acknowledges that the Product was developed by CSIRO for its own research purposes. The CSIRO will not therefore be liable for interpretation of or inconsistencies, discrepancies, errors or omissions in any or all of the Product as supplied. 3. The User agrees that the Product or any part thereof, either digital or hardcopy, must not be sold, given away, traded, let, hired or otherwise dealt with, without the prior written approval of the Chief of CSIRO Marine Research. Should the User wish to use the Product commercially, a special licence must be obtained from CSIRO for this purpose. 4. The User agrees that whenever the Product or imagery/data derived from the Product are published by the User, the CSIRO Marine Laboratories shall be acknowledged as the source of the Product.
