CSIRO-industry SEF mapping project
This 2-year project - funded by the Fisheries Research and Development
Corporation (FRDC) - is a partnership between CSIRO and the two
main sectors of the fishing industry in the South East Fishery;
trawl and non-trawl. Our project team consists of three scientists
at CSIRO (Alan Williams, Nic Bax and Bruce Barker) and two consultants
(Pascale Baelde Sea Matters and Crispian Ashby MAFRI).
We are working with individual operators and through the peak industry
bodies (SETFIA & SENTA)
and guided by a steering committee.
