The Australian Argo team perform quality control on the real-time ARGO data. The data screening is automated and software-controlled. Temperature or salinity values that fail tests are automatically flagged as bad and removed from the real-time message sent to the GTS. These values remain in the Real Time netcdf files generated and delivered to the Global Data Acquisition Centres and are available for later delayed-mode QC. More information on the Argo Australia project can be found at the IMOS website. More information on the International Argo Project can be found at the argo.net website and the Argo Information Centre (AIC). Pressure offsets in APEX floats from all DACs are currently being investigated. Click here for more information.
