The Far Seas Fisheries data has been converted to Meds-ASCII and the data has been plotted by year.  The data from IX1 has also been extracted and converted to Direct Access for incorporation in our analysis.  The entire file contained 178537 profiles after conversion.  The IX1 extraction contained 22507 profiles.

There were several problems in converting this data to Meds-ASCII.  The data format was not as consistent as it might have been and it was not intuitively obvious how to code to convert all possibilities. 

One caution - the data is at fixed depths and so low resolution.  It does NOT capture thermal structure in the same way that inflection point data would.  Perhaps we can get access to higher resolution data in the future.
